The Nargis Dutt Foundation, Chicago Chapter has equipped the Holy Spirit Hospital in Haflong, Dima Hasao District, Assam with an Ambulance.

Failure in efficient Health Care Delivery system resulted in District Dima Hasao holding first rank in Maternal and infant mortality. Several expectant mothers are confined to home delivery because no vehicle can get to those interiors areas resulting in the increase in maternal and infant death rate in the District.

One of the specific goals of this project is to reduce Maternal and Infant mortality rate by providing effective mother and Child care.
