Here's a big shout out to the SOUTH AFRICAN CONSULATE GENERAL in MUMBAI for making a difference.

On Nelson Mandela International Day (18th July 2017), the South African Consulate General in Mumbai supported our project 'MUSKAN', a women empowerment project by providing 176 girls with eco-friendly and bio degradable sanitary napkins, for a year.

A sanitary kit consisting of a towel, toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, hand sanitizer and sanitary napkins were distributed to kick start the project.

Our project 'MUSKAN' is aimed at a twin benefit of not only employing women from financially needy families but also helping young girls in the slum areas of Mumbai and rural India to inculcate the habit of using clean and hygienic sanitary napkins.

Special thanks also goes out to the Navjeet Community Centre for supporting this cause.
