NDMCT in association with the Foundation of Mother & Child Health conducted a 2 hour workshop in Sonave Village for the ASHA Workers in Health, Nutrition and Hygiene. The workshop was held on 19th Oct 2015.

Accredited social health activists (ASHAs) are community health workers. Sonave Tribal Village has only 4 ASHA workers and 1 Health Assistant who cater to a population of nearly 3500 tribals.

The workshop was a step towards empowering the ASHA workers with general knowledge on health, nutrition and hygiene.
