Basantgarh, a remote village in Udhampur District in Jammu had it’s first ever eye screening camp since independence, with the help of the ophthalmic equipment donated by Nargis Dutt Foundation.

The camp was conducted to celebrate ‘World Sight Day’ on 10th Oct 2019. Approx 250 patients were examined and 48 patients were shortlisted for cataract surgeries.

The Udhampur Rotary Eye & General Welfare Foundation and Rotary Club Udhampur in collaboration with KLSM Rotary Eye & ENT Hospital Udhampur and a dedicated team of doctors organised the camp.
