CANCER SCREENING CAMP, GANJE VILLAGE, PALGHAR ON 12TH NOV 2016
Approx 175 Men and Women from Ganje Village in Palghar were screened and counseled for cancer. General Physicians, Oncologists, ENT, Gynecologists, Pathologists and Counselors were all part of this camp. The crowd was counseled on the importance of cancer screening and hygiene. It was the first time that many had heard about Cervical Cancer and the importance of self breast examination.
Free one month rations were also distributed to the villagers.
The camp was held in association with Cancer Patients Aids Association (CPAA) and Rotary Club of Mumbai's Queens Necklace on 12th November 2016.
