The Nargis Dutt Foundation had equipped the Holy Spirit Hospital in Haflong, Dima Hasao District, Assam with an Ambulance in 2018.

In the year 2020, approx 700 lives were saved with frequent trips being made to Guwahati, district Dima Hasao and the local town.

Failure in efficient Health Care Delivery system resulted in District Dima Hasao holding the first rank in Maternal and infant mortality.

The ambulance brings patients for delivery from distant villages and some of them have delivered in the ambulance itself.There are also patients with strokes, heart diseases, accidents and other situation where the ambulance saved lives by reaching patients in time to start prompt treatment which prevented permanent disability or premature death.
