Team Nargis Dutt Foundation visited and distributed start-up kits to the families affected by floods, landslides and cyclones in the Konkan belt of Mahad, Poladpur and Chiplun on 4th and 5th October 2021.

The visit was to give hope to the people of Raigad and Ratnagiri and let them know that they are not alone in their sufferings. The visit gave us an opportunity to interact with the families and understand the ground realities of life. It made us realise the fragility of life, the fury of nature and the importance of humanity coming together to help those in need. The villagers felt emotional that someone somewhere thought about them. We believe it will provide some strength to pass through this difficult phase in their lives.
